Hi I’m Katie and I’m the Assistant Director Recreation and Culture!

 Having studied and worked within the health, wellbeing and leisure sector all my working life I am passionate about helping communities and partners to promote and lead an active healthy lifestyle. 

I have played football since the age of 10 retiring only a few years ago. I now enjoy taking part in parkrun on a Saturday morning either as a volunteer or running and most definitely like being a “tourist” and running in other locations elsewhere in the UK. I also like sprint triathlons, mountain biking and hiking.
